🌊

Swimming Safety

Gulf waters are generally calm and safe. Watch for jellyfish during rainy season (June-Oct). Red flags mean dangerous conditions—rare but respect them. Rip currents are uncommon but possible.

☀️

Best Times

Early morning (6-8am) is magical—fewer people, cooler temps, beautiful light. Sunset (5:30-6:30pm) is peak time. Midday (11am-3pm) gets scorching hot—seek shade or beach clubs.

🏖️

Beach Amenities

Chair + umbrella rentals 100฿/day. Vendors sell drinks, snacks, fresh fruit. Public toilets at major beaches (10-20฿). Beach clubs charge entry (200-500฿) but include loungers and facilities.

Horse riding 200-300฿ for 15-20min. Jet skis 1,500฿/30min. Kitesurfing schools on main beach. Beach massage 200-300฿/hour. Locals play takraw (foot volleyball) most afternoons—join in!
